Looking for surreality in the real world has made me a highly curious human. I strive to find artistic content even when put in the most uninspiring of environments. The aim of my photography is to get people to notice the beautiful nuances that can be found in mundane settings. Surrealism is not merely a fictitious, man-made thing, but a natural occurrence as well. I want to contribute to our world by taking photographs which challenge people to look for, and celebrate, the greater depth that can be found in the monotonous aspects of our surroundings.

Daniela Sebastian is from Marin County, California, and is currently based in San Diego. She received a BFA in Photography and Video at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2022. She has strong interests in creative portraiture and street photography shot on 35mm film.
